“Night of Brutal Training”

This was a scene where I was asked to get to the heart of why Po would resist learning Kung-Fu, Show Shifu learning the benefits of a softer approach, and through all that turn the tide of their relationship from hating to understanding each other.

While we didn’t keep the ‘anti-Po’, exploring this did find us the aspect of his character that we were missing before, and took him from a fanboy who is bad at Kung-Fu, to one who loves it but is afraid to actually DO it.
